Sailing Charter Tonga
Suggested Itinerary (8 nights)

Below is a suggested itinerary for your Tonga bareboat charter holiday.

DAY 1	PICK UP your sailing charter yacht at Vava'u. Life in Vava'u is simple and you can spend the afternoon walking around the town of Neiafu, taking in the culture and sights of this friendly island. OVERNIGHT - NEIAFU
DAY 2	SET SAIL to Port Maurell on Kapa Island. This is a beautifully, well protected anchorage with panoramic views. Enjoy a barbecue in the peace and tranquility that Tonga has to offer. OVERNIGHT - PORT MAURELL (Anchorage 7)
DAY 3	ANCHOR in the almost landlocked Hunga Lagoon. Day sail on the outside to the west of Hunga for deep sea game fish trolling (bring your own gear) Tuna, Bonita, Dorado and sometime Sailfish are all caught in this area. An alternative would be a sail to Foeata for a beautiful lunchtime anchorage with white sand beaches and snorkelling. Anchor off at Hunga Village by 1700 hours. OVERNIGHT - HUNGA VILLAGE (Anchorage 13)
DAY 4	SAIL to Anchorage 14 and enjoy lunch at the Blue Lagoon Restaurant. Move on to Anchorage 16 and snorkel above the coral gardens. OVERNIGHT - ANCHORAGE 16
DAY 5	SAIL to Anchorage 11 and enjoy the scenery in this spectacular bay. Dine at La Paella (Spanish restaurant). OVERNIGHT - ANCHORAGE 11
DAY 6	SAIL south for either Luaafuleheu or Luahiapo. Both are beautiful, deserted islands, ideal for a lunch stop. Sail back to Vava'eitu Island, for good snorkelling on the barrier reef. OVERNIGHT - VAVA'EITU (Anchorage 15)
DAY 7	THE tropical island of Nounu is your lunch stop for a beach barbecue. Head out early for Maungaui, an anchorage at Aisea's beach. OVERNIGHT - AISEA'S BEACH (Anchorage 10)
DAY 8	SAIL onto to Neiafu. OVERNIGHT - NEIAFU
DAY 9	RELUCTANTLY disembark yacht for onward connections.
