Suggested Itinerary (14 nights)

Below is a suggested itinerary for your sailing holiday in Turkey.

DAY 1	BOARD yacht 1900 hours Marmaris Marina for briefing and inventory check. Provision your bareboat charter yacht at the nearby markets and dine at one of the waterfront restaurants. OVERNIGHT - MARMARIS
DAY 2	DEPART Marmaris for a quick downhill sail to Eckincik. Moor below main restaurant and put your name down for tour of the ancient Canous Ruins and Dalyan Village. (approx. 18 miles) OVERNIGHT - ECKINCIK
DAY 3	A SMALL Caique (or Gulet) will arrive this morning for a full day trip up the Dalyan River. Excellent trip (costs approx. $45 per person and includes lunch). (approx. 18 miles) OVERNIGHT - ECKINCIK
DAY 4	SHORT sail today down to the Fethiye group of islands. There is an abundance of superb anchorages including "Cleopatra's Baths" - she actually used to bathe here! (approx. 10 miles) OVERNIGHT - CLEOPATRA'S BAY
DAY 5	SPEND a relaxing day just exploring the Fethiye group of islands before mooring in Four Fathom Cove. (approx. 5 miles) OVERNIGHT - FOUR FATHOM COVE
DAY 6	SHORT hop across Fethiye Bay to Gocek. Spend the night in the Marina and dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants. (approx. 5 miles) OVERNIGHT - GOCEK
DAY 7	VISIT Fethiye township, enjoy a real Turkish massage and shave (for the guys). (approx. 10 miles) OVERNIGHT - FETHIYE
DAY 8	UP early for the long sail to Kalkan. Contemplate Herodotus' claim that here the moon and stars are the closest in the world. (approx. 35 miles) OVERNIGHT - KALKAN
DAY 9	SHORE excursion to the ancient Xanthos, Letoon and Patara in the morning, then sail to Kas - dine on the quay in one of the many waterside restaurants. Experience the real Turkey in the open air markets. (approx. 12 miles) OVERNIGHT - KAS
DAY 10	SAIL to Gemiler Island today. Once an Island fortress, the tiled remains of a massive castle are littered across the Island. Climb to the top and take in the fabulous view. (approx. 30 miles) OVERNIGHT - GEMILER ISLAND
DAY 11	DEPART Gemiler today for a morning sail back to Eckincik. Spend the day at leisure followed by dinner at the renowned "MY Marina Restaurant". (approx. 25 miles) OVERNIGHT - ECKINCIK
DAY 12	LEISURELY 3 hour's sail today to the small secluded bay of Turunc Buku (approx. 18 miles) OVERNIGHT - TURUNC BUKU
DAY 13	SHORT hop this morning back to Marmaris Marina. Marmaris is regarded as "The Jewel of the Turkish Coast". Spend a leisurely day exploring the township of Marmaris and the many excellent waterfront restaurants. (approx. 3 miles) OVERNIGHT - MARMARIS
DAY 14	RELUCTANTLY disembark 0900 hours for onward connections.
