Brook Felsenthal

Brook Felsenthal grew up in rural Victoria in a keen sailing family where building and racing yachts became his main obsession, later competing at a high level including representing Australia. 

Brook gained a Bachelor of Business in Tourism before heading to Europe in the mid eighties.  It was here that he found he could combine this passion for boats and a career path in Tourism by operating charter flotillas in both Greece & Turkey. 

Returning to Australia, Brook decided to establish Australia's first and only specialist yacht charter brokerage.

Since 1985 Charter World have continued to offer the highest levels of quality service with repeat clients spanning three decades - where he now helps even the grandchildren of his original clients enjoy unforgettable holidays afloat.

Lynn Felsenthal

Lynn Felsenthal joined Charter World in 1986 after a four year stint living in the Whitsundays and working with Whitsunday-Rent-A-Yacht, who were and remain the Whitsunday's original and largest operator.

Lynn's attention to detail has ensured that thousands of charterers have enjoyed hassle free holidays with updated and accurate information, not only on the yachts themselves but the complex travel options which surround a successful charter holiday.

Lynn and Brook have travelled extensively to the charter areas and bases Charter World offer worldwide and through client feedback are kept up to date on the latest developments.

Lynn and Brook have two children, Jack (12) and Holly (10) who have, through no choice of their own, enjoyed many charter holidays in Australia, Asia and the Pacific.


Liv Seyffarth

Liv has operated our travel division for almost three years after immigrating from Germany.  A previous flight attendant with Lufthansa, Liv knows Europe backwards as well as being fluent in four languages. 

Liv and her husband Denis are also keen yachties having sailed in Europe, the Whitsundays and Pacific.

Liv continues to find the best possible routes and the best possible flights and manages the vital pre and post charter arrangements.

Amanda Quirk

Amanda joined the team in 2005 and runs our final documents section.  Originally from the IT industry, Amanda brings a wealth of experience and research skills and takes great pride to the presentation of all of our documentation.  Amanda and her husband Greg experienced their first charter in Croatia last year and are already lining up for their next charter adventure.

Fiona Monagle

Fiona assists Amanda and Liv in both the final documents and travel documents, and is the newest member of our team, although she has been onboard over two years.

Fiona has a HR background, and has travelled extensively through Europe and the Pacific.  She is not a sailor but planning her first boating holiday in 2009.

Jason Gilles

Jason has served as Charter World's IT Trouble Shooter for over a decade, maintaining the networks, websites and office machinery at extremely high levels.  A keen sailor, Jason has chartered across the Pacific and races keel boats on Port Phillip Bay.

If any new gadget appears on the market, Jason knows about it and it is in the office the next week!

 
Amber Greshner-Cross

Amber started working for Charter World as per first job at the age of 18, and apart from a year spent traveling in Europe, has been the first friendly voice on the telephone line for over eight years. 

Amber knows the yachts and the crews as well as having hosted regattas in New Caledonia and groups in the Whitsundays.  Like Lynn her attention to detail is one of her main attributes to make your holiday nothing less than perfect.
