Croatia Yacht Charter

 DAY 1

Board yacht at marina base late afternoon.  Split is the economical, cultural and commercial capital of Dalmatia; the centre and according to many people the heart of the Adriatic. Organise some light provisions and dine in a waterfront restaurant while you decide your itinerary for tomorrows sail.
OVERNIGHT - SPLIT MARINA

 DAY 2

A short sail to Milna on the Island of Brac. Stone built houses, neat little alleyways, peace and quiet are the initial evidence of the splendour and culture of former times. In fact, the township’s origins go back to the 17th Century. Enjoy a night in one of the many waterfront restaurants.
OVERNIGHT – MILNA (BRAC) (approx 10 miles)

 DAY 3

The winding, picturesque alleyways are made even prettier by the magnificent facades found on the local architecture. An attractive stairway leads up to the parish church, and one can admire the Rendic statues, valuable painting and the moving votive objects placed there by the sea-faring men of Milna.
OVERNIGHT – MILNA (BRAC)

 DAY 4

Early start today for the Island of Viz. Closed since 1945, Viz was only opened to foreigners in late 1989 and the locals seem almost from another era. There are many Roman remains to explore including thermal baths and mosaics from the 1st century. Viz was developed in the 16th century when the Franciscan Monastery and the church were built.
OVERNIGHT – VIZ ISLAND (approx 15 miles)

 DAY 5

Sail to Hvar, a picturesque and historic town.

Hvar was settles in the fourth century B.C by Greeks from the Aegean island of Paros. The name Hvar is derived from Paros or pharos, meaning lighthouse. Subsequent rulers whose influence is still to be seen included the Romans, Slavs and Venetians.

 DAY 6

Explore Hvar.

The last morning ashore in Hvar before returning to Split late afternoon. Enjoy last night aboard before disembarking in the morning.
